A little bit about myself &
Britta Bakes

Hello, my name is Britt Thomas creator of Britta Bakes. Growing up I have always been fascinated by sweets, whether around a festive table topped with lots of desserts, my head in a women’s weekly cake book or with my hands in my gran's cookie box. I love creating a sweet that someone is impressed by, and seeing the enjoyment in their face when eating one of my white chocolate and raspberry muffins or caramel slice.

I have always lived and breathed baking and wanted to make a career out of it, so in 2019 my sister and I thought why not open a cafe. Where we could share my cooking to the community, this is when we created Ms Betty’s. It was everything I had envisioned, I loved baking new sweets for customers to try and seeing the excitement on their face when smelling my sausage rolls walking into the cafe.

After three successful years running Ms Bettys, I decided it was time to move on from this project and enjoy some travel. While living on the Peninsula and travelling around, I enjoyed trying new cafes/restaurants and further developing my baking skills. After having a well-deserved break, I started to plan my next venture which is where Britta Bakes came about, a catering business for any and all of life’s occasions!

I can’t wait to embark on this adventure and cater for your next event!
